13:00 – 14:00 | 3D digital making
Participants will be working together to transform their blockchain exercise into digital forms. An induction will be given on an example of using blockchain transaction values in the form of numbers and spreadsheet, to transform a digital surface in 3D software: Rhinoceros and Grasshopper plugin Ghowl. Every group, will be developing one 3D file (either using the example method or any other preferred method). The 3D files will be saved for the 3D printer in the .stl format and will be ready for the next process which is 3D printing.
14:00 – 14:30 | coffee break
14:30 – 15:30 | 3D physical printing
We will have a quick tour to the ECA print shop. Mr Richard Collins, our technician contributer will give a short brief on 3D printing and will be assisting participants in trasfering their 3D files to the printer.
15:30 – 16:00 | Open discussion and feedback
After coming back from the 3D printing session, participants will be engaged in an open discussion around their experience of the event, ideas and potential future collaborations. We use this time to gather feedbacks from everyone who attended the event and document the outputs.
